Cesare Cremonini enchants Dall’Ara: “Bologna embrace me and come dream with me”

Bologna, June 19, 2025 – Bologna tonight is Poetic. Within the walls of the Dall'Ara, the music ( video ) of Cesare Cremonini ( photo ) is the protagonist of a night dedicated to Bologneseness. Because 'Home is always home, home is only one, and home for me is Bologna' proclaims Cesare on stage.

The city lights go out, and the show opens with the single that bears the name of his latest famous album and his documentary, which tells the story of his incredible journey through the ice and the Northern Lights : it is Alaska Baby , accompanied by the first confetti thrown into the sky and the voices of the many people present at the Dall'Ara.

“Bologna, I missed you every day, until I got here, until I got before your eyes,” Cremonini opens in front of his audience . “Tonight, hug each other, touch each other, hold hands, because I want to travel with you , to the places I have been when I missed you, desert after desert, city after city, song after song, because everything I have done and experienced has become music. Bologna, hug me , and come dream with me !” And then Bologna begins this dream made of songs and stories of life: “I would like to dedicate the next song to Carla , a lady who is here in the audience tonight, and who always comes to my concerts. It was she who insisted to the point of exhaustion that I play the piano, until she made me fall madly in love with this wonderful instrument. At 15 I started writing songs, and since then there hasn't been a moment in which I play the piano without thinking of her, my mother, Mrs. Carla." He then begins to sing 'Vorrei', which - he says - "is the first song I wrote in my life". Cremonini also performs other of the most iconic songs from Alaska Baby ( video ): the famous 'Ora che non ho più te', 'Acrobati', 'Aurore Boreali' (which already in the title recalls the journey), 'Un'alba rosa', and 'Ragazze facili', which he dedicates to all the people who "like me, are defenseless".
